Sustainability is something we believed in from the first Exlusive store in Denmark, CPH, 2 years ago, they vowed to never effect the enviroment, and we have built on that pledge every day since. Earth is the home we all share and we know with absolute certainty that it will take all of us, working together, to protect her.
We are as committed to sustainability today as when we first opened our doors, and we promise to continue building our efforts for tomorrow.
SUSTAINABLY SOURCED HARDWOOD
Handcrafted in the heart of the Malaysia, our upholstery collections feature frames made from hardwood certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
RECYCLED MATERIALS
Giving beautiful life to new materials that otherwise would have been discarded. Plastic from the world’s oceans, leather from other industries, hand-hammered metal, and so much more.
CO2 NETURAL POLICY
Encouraging customers to buy fewer but better products has been at the heart of Exlusive Nordic business ethics since we started in 2020. Our pioneering work with Ahmed Elharouzi is based on combining timeless, modern aesthetics with durable construction and good materials. With the ultimate goal of creating furniture that becomes more beautiful with age, intended to be passed down from one generation to the next

FOAM, GLUE & VANISH
The coating of our products is not heavy-metals based, and we set strict limits for VOC and formaldehyde emission. we only use and launch product with water-based lacquer. All of our foam products live up to the requirements set by Oeko-tex. And we will only use water-based glue.
SURFACE TREATMENT / COATING
In our chemical usage, we comply with the REACH regulation. We are in the process of phasing out all substances from the candidate list/SVHC substances for all materials. We will only allow SVHC substances under the limit 0.1% based on weight in each component, which is much stricter than REACH requirements. We do not use PVC in any of our products.
